AREA: 20 square miles.
LOCATION: About 21 miles from mid-Manhattan. Bordered on the west by the city of White Plains and on the east by the city and town of Rye.

ZONING: Residential - 5,000 square feet to 2 1/2 acres, plus large estates. Commercial - 2 hamlet shopping areas, plus corporate parks located primarily on Westchester and Mamaroneck Avenues on parcels up to 100 acres. Many nationally known companies are located here. Small number of apartment houses but many two family homes in the hamlet areas.

COMMUTING: Harrison is served by the New Haven Division of Metro North station in the village (40 minutes to Grand Central) and also the Harlem Division of Metro North Station in White Plains
(34 minutes to Grand Central). Access to the New England Thruway, Hutchinson River Parkway, and Interstate 287 (Cross Westchester Expressway) and 684. Westchester County Airport in Purchase. Approximately a 33 minute drive to mid-Manhattan.
