POPULATION: 27,867 (Estimated).
AREA: 2.3 square miles.
LOCATION: In the town of Rye about 26 miles from mid-Manhattan. Situated in an eastern corner of Westchester County on the western bank of the Byram River.

It is the hub of the New York State and New England Thruways and the Cross Westchester Expressway. The famous Boston Post Road passes through the village. It is accessible to New York City, metropolitan airports, and New England. Approximately a 30 minute drive to mid-Manhattan.
