LOCATION: In the town of Greenburgh about 25 miles from mid- Manhattan. Tarrytown lies in the hills on the east bank of the Hudson River and borders the separate village of North Tarrytown (town of Mount Pleasant) in the north. Tarrytown is historically connected to Washington Irving. Major Andre and the legend of Sleepy Hollow.
